I figured i would share my project and pics to those who are interested, when i bought the car it had a 440 with a 671 dyers and no hood, I planned on making a 1000hp street car that was usable as an every day driver if one desired, me and my engine builder put together a 512" stoker planned for efi and a f1 procharger, have a 727 reverse manual with a trans brake, wanted the car to look as stock as possible inside and out, completely stock interior and exterior to mimic a ro23 car, Dash that was in the car was custom, so i restored a dash i bough off the net to o.e. condition, test sprayed the door to check the color (viper red), its looks awesome, I will spray the rest of the car in the next week or two, enjoy the pics. Jay

Man the pictures are fantastic, we all know how it gos with looking at a picture and standing there looking at one, That is some class work and the dash even in a picture looks fantastic!!! Id wish you good luck but to look at your work lol, i think it a waste in time, keep on keepin on bud, you have the touch!

Thanks, Ive had a few pm's about the drip rail seam sealer, so I figured id post it here for others who are interested, I use Evercoat Maxim, Its 2 part and is unique due to the fact that it can be applied from a regular caulk gun, I apply it over scuffed epoxy primer, It is self leveling and cures very quickly, once cured any imperfections are removed with 80 grit then final blocked to perfection with 180 on a stiff 3m flex pad before a final top coat of epoxy. Jay

Very nice! You do know Drag Week is happening now...right? LOL

Looks really good! That dash trim part over the steering column is a hard one to find!
