I seen a Calif. build 1970 roadrunner with white interior and pockets in the front lower corner of the door panel, elastic band on top. Never seen that before. What option included that? Original interior

Don't know. My CA built 70 Road Runner had the base interior - no pockets.

In all of my researching for my 70 RR, I have never come across any pics of a door panel with pockets in it. That is not to say they aren't out there, just I haven't seen them. I would love to see a pic of that. I have the white interior with decor package, but mine is not a CA car.

Maybe they were out of white RR panels when the car came down the line and some charger ones were used to keep the line running.

Don't look like charger panels but I'll post a pic. Does have the decor package.

here ya go, aged in color with the rest of the panel. appear to be factory. left panel is stretched from use.

Not what I pictured. Sure it's factory?

Not sure but they look like what would have been used and original material. That is why I syarted this topic was to see if anyone has seen them before.

I suggest you look at legendary or other catalog that sells replacement door panels. For some reason they remind me of Charger panels.

Not saying I'm right - just wondering...

They are similar to Charger, but the Chargers have the pockets in the middle of the bottom part of the door. Looks to me like someone added them on there.

I would agree. I doubt that the factory would have the pocket installed over the decorative beading and piping. It doesn't look right.

If it had décor package the bezel across the top would be chrome also right? So it was modified at some level. G
