Twins win today! And in even bigger news, a very big congrats to Ron Gardenhire, better known to Twins fans as Gardy, picking up his 1,000th win, all as the Twins coach. Very rare nowadays in pro sports for someone to last that long with the same team. Go Twins!

Well the Cards won their season opener at Great American Ballpark against Cincy and won their own home opener last night at Busch III.

Cailf. SF Bay Area baseball is pretty damn good, unfortunately I don't watch much any more...

The A's have a very good team .. I'm rooting for them and following the Astro's in the AL West

If GM Jeff Luhnow is allowed to continue his rebuild of the stros for long enough they will be a very good team in a few years

THIS JUST IN: The Royals are leading the AL Central !

On Tuesday night, the Royals steamrolled starter Max Scherzer and the Tigers, 11-4, to win their ninth straight game and take over first place in the AL Central by half a game. It’s the first time they’ve owned a share of the top spot since April 19, and the latest in the season they’ve been in first since 2003, when they were atop the Central as late as August 29.

It's getting to be crunch time. I was in St.Louis recently & could not get 3 tickets together any where. So we went to the Ballpark Village & checked out the rooftop seats across the street from the stadium. OMG! Before I die, I want to sit there!

A's we're killin in June. Now they suck after the all-star break.

It's rough being an Oakland fan of any team. A's, Raiders, Sharks. At least I'm a Spurs fan instead of the Warriors.

Trading Cespedes was gonna happen sooner or later. Oakland is a low budget operation. I just wish they'd done it after this season. They had a good run going.

I don't think you'll be waiting much longer. They are starting to develop some talent. Baez,Soler, & friends are good looking prospects. Another year or two.
On a local note, Cubs drop Boise team. We are now Colorado property. I won't feel quite so bad going to the games now. LOL.

Heard that. High "A" Ball affiliate now at South Bend and the Daytona Cubs moved up the Coast to Myrtle Beach. Damn!!! Getting their butts whipped by the Dodgers today. Embarrassing...cr8crshr/Tuck

We are short season A ball here. Cubbies wanted a new stadium,county said build it yourself. They left, moved to Eugene, Oregon. Ownership here was told decision to select Eugene was based on their having the nicest facility in the Northwest League. Whatever.

My Royals are on then they're off. Recently, when it really means something, they're off. Hopefully the win yesterday will give them the boost they need to finish strong and be able to go into the post season. It's been a long time coming.

Cards magic number down to 5 for the division, already clinched at least a wildcard. I'm dreaming of a Wainwright vs Kershaw matchup for the NL marbles. Then we beat down The Rat who went to the angels for our 12th ring. Whoooopeeeee !

the managerial staff stinks....and the 3rd base coach ran them out of at least 6 or 7 games this year making the 3rd out at 3rd or home!...I can go on and on but will not bore you people here.:angry9:
