for sale......very nice used 66-70 console....very minor minor pitting in some of the chrome..definitely the nicest used console ive seen in awhile!. for purists it would only be correct for 66-68 b bodys because of the top plates!.......easily covered with a cheap woodgrain kit!......asking $450 or b/o plus shipping in the usa

That's not correct for a 1966 either. The 66 is a two piece unit.

Sorry that is not correct either when talking about 1966/67 consoles. I have the exact same thing in my '66 Ply Satellite which was factory installed. You might want to check your facts a little better. Both the '66'67 B Body cars for Plymouth and Satellite did have the wood grain accent available but for the majority of them they were plain with an Argent painted accent...cr8crshr/Tuck

The 66-67 Charger had the odd ball console! It was a 2 piece because of the full length with rear bucket seats!

bueller bueller....anyone????

now reduced............$ 400 shipped anywhere in good ol usa!!!!!

Nice piece. Wish it was for a 4 speed, I'd be all over it. Good luck.

Anyone know of a way to transform this to a four speed? If so I wanna know how and let me jump on this.

pretty sure all you need is the 4 spd top plate. pricey but available now and then. of course you could then sell the automatic plate to recoup some of the expense.

good luck regardless.

I think it's more than just the plate. Something to do with shifter hump???

I saw an aftermarket hump that can be applied via a little welding. Anyone else have some info?

To convert an auto console to 4 speed, you will need to cut it on the drivers side for shifter clearance, add a fiberglass hump that is available through multiple sources, get a 4 speed drivers side chrome strip, and 4 speed top plate for the console. The wiring harness is slightly different because the auto has the reverse lock out wire on some years. It may also have a light for the auto shift indicator which will not be needed for the manual.

Nearly all the supplies can be sourced through Brewers Performance. http://www.brewersperformance.com/

Just to clarify how to ID a '66 - '70 console:

1) The '66 AND '67 consoles have two parts - the main body and the "butt" piece that attaches to the rear of the main body. This was because of the '66 - '67 Charger's extended console, allowing Chrysler to manufacture ONE front portion that would fit all of the other '66 - '67 cars that had a console as an option.

2) The '68 - '70 consoles are one piece, like the one for sale, and are fully interchangeable between years. It is not uncommon to find a one-piece console base that has been swapped into a '66 - '67 car, and vice versa.

3) The tops like the ones pictured are '66 - '68. The '69 and '70 tops are woodgrained.

4) Four-speed consoles ARE different, as pointed out above.

5) The "B" & "C"-body consoles are the same from 1966 - 1970, with the above mentioned top plate differences.

6) If you have a '66 or '67 parts manual, and a '68 - '70 parts manual, you can compare this information and verify for yourself.

I've owned my '66 Coronet 500 for 34 years, and have parted out over 30 '66 - '67 "B"-bodies to know what's what with consoles. Just adding information to the info pool, hope this helps
