I have a 73 440 with the lower radiator hose on the passenger and have a Griffin radiator with the inlet on the same side. I have a few things at play here. The first is the motor mounts which are for being able to mount a 440 in a 65 Fury. The driver side mount which is a unique mount to be able to do mount a 440 in a 65 Fury (similar mount to the ones used for 383 in an A-Body) is hitting the power steering bracket.

What I want to do is get the March Performance swap out for the Alternator and power steering brackets and pulleys. The one with the 2 separate belts. But it says you can't use the style water pump housing where the thermostat housing isn't parallel to the brackets.

If I swap to a water pump housing that dumps on the driver's side. What is the best way to route that over to the passenger side inlet of the radiator housing? Keep in mind that there will be no belt driven fan. As the radiator has 2 electric fans.

hopefully that all makes sense.

Thanks,

I have the same mounts in my 65 Sport Fury (w/440). When I had power steering, I used the pump that hangs off of the water pump on the driver side. I cut a hole in the 'special' mount to let the Power steering hose fit through the mount itself. Never had any issues with it. What does your pump hit on your setup?
What are they talking about ; 'Thermostat housing parallel to the brackets'? Both right and left inlet housings have the thermostat in the same place.

i don't have a good picture of what part of the power steering bracket is hitting the motor mount. But where the motor mount hits it won't let the mount go far enough over to get the mounting bosses that need to drilled and tapped. This is the motor mount from Schumacher.

I was looking at getting the 440source passenger side water pump housing. The housing to block water ports need to be enlarged.

Sorry parallel to the radiator.
NOTE: Big Block Mopar brackets kits require that your engine have a thermostat housing in which the bolt holes run parallel to the radiator.

I have never (ever) seen a big block housing that was not parallel to the radiator. Must be from some sort of weird application like an industrial engine or possible marine application.
When I get home, I will see if I can take a picture of my modified mount.

You can not use the 73 and later water pump housing. Need to be using a 63-72 housing. Any good radiator shop can move the lower outlet to the other side of your radiator no need to cross it over. You also need to go with the top mount power steering pump for non-ac cars it will bolt to the proper 63-72 water pump housing. If Badvert65 will post pictures of his you will be able to see how this all goes together.

I can't find any clear pictures of my old setup (I have since changed to manual steering). I remember getting the power steering pump assembly off of a 68 Road Runner. It mounted the same as the OE 65 Fury pump but had a smaller return line. The pressure line coming out the back of the pump hit the engine mount (bolts to the front left corner of the block). I just cut a bigger hole in the motor mount bracket and routed the pressure line through the mount. I will try to find my original mount and pump, mock it up for some clear photos.

I have this same pump and belt arrangement on my 68 Charger if I find time to clean it off so the hood can be opened will take some photos.
