I'm looking for all the exterior trim pieces and I can't seem to find the Dodge letters. I would think they were used on more than just 67 Coronets, so I must not be calling them the the right thing when I search for them. Any suggestions?

Do a search for them here. I just saw some here recently.I have some 67 coronet 500 trim for sale. No letters though.

67 only, Coronet only.

66 is different and is 66 only, Coronet only as well.

66 is raised in the middle of the letters, 67 is recessed.

They interchange, though.

Careful- the middle "D" is different than the fist "D" and the middle one is prone to breaking and is frequently switched out.
Make sure it has the recess for the crown in the center of the hood.

There are similar sets used on other car models but they do not interchange as the pins don't line up.

Both years are very prone to pitting and finding a nice set is a challenge, and can be pricey.

Ebay link above is not correct for either 66 or 67 Coronet hood.

Probably not what you wanted to hear, but it's the truth.

I just filled in the holes on the trunk. Might get some decals for the letters on the hood. ' B E A S T ' instead of ' D O D G E '.

I didnt think they looked even close, but I did not want to challenge anyone on the board, plus with my car, there is no way to know what is original!

I think I will try to figure out getting them restored when the time comes or fill the holes. I've seen some restoration services here and there. Maybe I will just bring my car to a big shop when the time comes and have them do the paint and everything related including the emblems.

the Charger hood letters are same as Coronet for same year; ie smooth/raised for 66 and sunken/black insets for 67. (we have a 67 Charger).

there's info/pics available on the 66-67charger.com forum under the Resource Guide section. send me a PM w/ your e-mail address if you can't find the info and I'll shoot you some pics of the letters. don't think I have any extra letters but will look tomorrow when out in garage.

They only reproduce 66, and even at that they are not correct. The center "D" has to have a bend in it for the hood crease.
Those are for Challenger.
Anyway, 67 Charger is the same as Coronet. I had an extra set but sold them a while back, sorry.
I am not sure of the rears but the front #s are: 2839286 (D) 2839287 (O) 2785438 (D - center) 2839288 (G) 2839289 (E).
None on EBag right now either.

Yep, forgot Charger is the same.

Thanks.
