I am about ready to buy front tires for my 64 Dodge project.
Tire size will be 215 - 75R - 15....I want a radial that looks kinda like the sidewall for a bias ply. The main things are that it be blackwalls and smoothest sidewalls for easy cleaning.
What you'uns recommend? does not need to be racing tires and prefer inexpensive and found at local tire dealers. Thanks for any input......................MO

personally old school vintage

I too am a fan of plain smooth sidewalls. The last set I found in that size I got at Big O tires. That was about a month ago for $66 each.Don't know if Big O is in your area.

Dont know if this pics helps but these are the same size you plan to get. They are just the standard tire I got from the Pep Boys my buddy works at. I believe they are called "Futura's". Been on my car since 2006 and have worked fine. Ron

We do not have "BIG O "tire store around here. Could you give me the brand name of your tires? maybe I could find them on the web. Thanks...............MO

Thanks Ron. Your tires look like what I want. Net says they are manufactured by Pep Boys, and there are no stores that I know of around here.........................MO

Good Post!
You know what I have found lateley?

The tire manufactures are slowly "walking away" from making Muscle Car & conventional tires like on my 77 AMC Gremlin...

Everything now is 18" 19" and 20"

B.F Goodrich AND Cooper Cobra tires are still being made for Muscle Cars and cars of the 60s / 70s
Good tires and good companies...

I run the Cooper Trendsetter SE steel belted radials. They are black walls and have a very clean sidewall. Made in the USA. Got them from America's Tires, which is also Discount Tire.

I will get that name to you with in a day
Found it, EPIC TOUR RADIAL LL
I too checked out the Cooper Trend setter first,,but they were out of stock.
