What did you do to your Mopar today?

Nice job on the frame connectors. Will you have to make a conduit for the park brake cable?

Converted the '71 Challenger /6 from points to Mopar electronic ignition
Set the lash (really fun to do while hot and running)
Replaced the valve cover gasket to stop the biggest leak on the car.

This past weekend, got my mom's old car on wheels and rolling, for the first time in 20 years...

Assembled the differential. I have never done this before but with a little reading and studying it wasn't as bad as I lead myself to believe it was going to be! I found I did not have the lock washer for the adjuster so I'm going to fabricate one. Now I can get the car back on the ground and move it around. It's getting colder outside and the time for being in the shop is getting near!

I cleaned out the garage in preparation for moving the 500 inside for the winter.

busy busy weekend
replaced heater hoses as a PM....replaced thermostat,,,old one was stuck open.
cleaned out trunk,,,got rid of all surface rust in trunk, removed all loose seam sealer and re sealed seams, welded shut a drilled out hole from a previous owner, painted trunk and finally added a new repop trunk liner

Thanks Photon! No problem with the e-brake cable. On the 64 it tucks through near the steering column area, near where a clutch pivot on the frame would go. The later B bodies req'd a conduit. image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg Frame connectors are done and now I'm redoing the mini tubs. The job was not done well the first time around.

Nice job ^^^^

Enjoyed the feel of the new Hotchkis front/rear sways n KYB shocks (not auto crossing this car) and Wilwood front discs. Highly recommended.

I had to cut the exhaust right out of mufflers for rear sways to go in and didn't get sound police called. Set off car alarms a little bit easier though.

It was time for the NYS vehicle inspection..... Beautiful day in the 60’s drove around for a while.........

The '67 Belvedere convertible got a new quarter . . .

The driver side quarter panel, when I bought it, looked really good - only to find out that it had up to 1/2' of bondo in the panel to "fix" a dent . . . YUCK ! ! !

So it was time for a transplant, and the operation is proving to be heading in the right direction . . .

Before . . .

After . . .

This is my first time ever patching in a full quarter panel back into a car . . .so far, so good ! !

Well, the 67 has been put to bed for her winter's nap. I'm in the Mopar row. I'm next to (I believe) a Magnum and next to that is a 70 GTX.
On the other side of me (will be) a 70 Challenger, next to that is a Viper and a 68 Coronet R/T and I forget what else in the row. :crybaby2:

Finished installing the left wheel tub on tthe mni-tub redo and half done the right side one. My filler strip is 2 3/4" with the tub right against the frame so I have max. clearance now.
Next step is to install a roll bar. I'll be using 1 3/4" DOM in .120 wall. In order to do the job I'm going to need a tube bender and this JD2 unit looks to be the best tool on the market for the hobbyist.

Worked on spare holley 3310 while watching it freaking snow about 16 inches. November 2!! Welcome to winter!

Put it away for the winter. Got it out late this spring due to the long winter/late spring we had last year, and putting it away early this fall due to predicted snow on Monday. I usually put it away around Thanksgiving. Ugh.

I put another item on top of it and now that makes it about 98% covered in the garage I have been stacking stuff on it for 8-10 yrs lost interest. I only bought it because it's rarity 1 of 320 with 34 known to exist it a 340 71 super bee.
The old saying is I will get to get one day.
