I need to jack up the car and remove rearend etc. and was wondering if there is a proper place to put jack stands on a 67 ,is my first uni body car

Place the jack stands on the frame rails just forward of the rear wheel house.l, where the frame rails level out. I would also chock the front wheels and stack both rear wheels and place under the gas tank nice and tight.

I like to place stands right on the brace (hanger mount) that the front spring hanger bolts to and there's very little chance of the stand slipping if it's placed there. If you place the stands on the frame rail, I like for the car to be level so I also jack up the front too but if you place the stand on the hanger mount, raising the front isn't needed.

Wait, I'm an idiot. I was referring to my frame connectors, which you probably don't have.

Sounds like you are not afraid of doing your own mechanical work......I strongly suggest getting a shop manual for your year/model of Mopar.......will help you out a lot..........
