66-67 charger photos

Getting ready for the rebuilt 440 and trans to go back in. Fixed all the stuff the cobbler I bought the car from messed up or just didn't do. Should be done just in time to winterize.

Thank Greg, we didn't find it anywhere, it's custom made(about 30hrs in it) from a spare housing we had. We also did a third brake light in the upper rear window which looks really sharp, but it's almost too bright(redirects into interior). I don't know what we're going to do about that just yet.

It looks good. Keep up the good work. No trim to me looks better.

Thank you, sir. The trim delete is more work than it looks like. I'll never do it again. I'll be happy when it's a driver and we get all these bugs figured out.

That is a nice HEMI Charger! One of the few cars on my list to own is a '66 HEMI 4-speed B car. The first thing to go would be the inland shifter mechanism. Getting the trans stuck is 3rd and reverse at the same time can be interesting when you power shift into third gear.

can't be done with Inland, to get reverse, you have to pull up on T-handle....both my Inlands are fine, no slop and gears are easy to find....obviously you have never driven one with a working mechanism

Yes, yes it can. If the shifter is worn out the third gear plate can grab the reverse plate and put them in two gears at once. If you want to argue with me don't bother. You are wrong.

well, your reasoning is wrong...the third gear plate and reverse plate are not next to each other...the 1-2 shift plate is in-between, so it's impossible to do what you are saying, but obviously you are master of all things mechanical...so I bow to your expertise even though you don't know what you are talking about....you must be a Chevy guy and never really understood the workings of a Mopar shifter

I think it had to do with a problem in the shifter gate. You sure are grumpy these days. And you know good and well I have been driving old mopar for years and years so don't get fresh with the Chevy guy stuff.
