My 1969 Coronet R/T is getting the 440 rebuilt and the shop claims my wiring needs replaced. I ordered an engine, transmission, wiper motor, headlights, taillights and console (light package) harnesses from Evans Wiring. He does not supply the dash harness as the wires have melted and have been hobbled together throughout the years. Has anyone used M & H Wiring before for their builds? I ran across a thread on this site, but can not seem to find it again. Instrument Specialties use Yearone harnesses supplied by M & H. Would you go used or reproduction?

I would go for a new one. I am waiting for my wording set to come in from year one myself.

How long have you been waiting? I can get a used reconditioned one today.

I used M&H for all my wiring and it was all top notch. If year one is out of stock maybe Classic has it, they both carry M&H.

M&H is top notch, best plug and play wiring out there, wait for a 30% sale to buy from YearOne. YearOne bought the exclusive licensing rights from Chrysler and has M&H produce the harnesses.

I agree with the others, The M&H harness' are very nice. Wait for a 30% off sale from Year One if you can though.

new M&H, pricey, but worth it. If you don't feel like coughing up $450, I have a nice used one you may be interested in. I had bought it off ebay before when the M&H harnesses were on back order (which I believe happens often).

Thanks for the offer, but I ordered one from Classic Industries. I could have got a used one, but the guy wanted $400.00. Now I have to sell one more item once my car is out of the shop after the winter.

Does that mean you have 2 dash harnesses? Do you have a rallye dash with tach? If so, I may be interested in your spare harness.

They had most of it in stock. Just waiting on the engine harness which should be in at the end of the month.

I have a rallye under dash wire harness removed from a 68 Charger in pretty descent shape.

Evans Wiring has the engine harness in stock along with all the other wiring with the exception of the dash harness.

I ordered an M&H for our '67 GTX. And waited for months. After several "vendor updates" I called M&H direct and was told "the" order for my year harness (which must have been my order I am assuming) basically had no priority and might not ever get built. The dash side harness was holding up the whole project, so I bought a good used one, a bunch of connectors, wire and high quality harness tape and with a friends help, restored a harness out of two used ones.

All the other harnesses have been M&H and they have worked great, I just couldn't get one of them. I understand it from a business perspective, but if they aren't going to make it, tell me up front and not five months later.
