Who knows what powerplants these 2 NSS cars have?

Keepin' the Faith is a factory aluminum nosed car, always raced and never been on the street. What did those weigh?

OMG! Wonder what brand of underwear they use!
Merry Christmas and Happy New year!

More power and less weight than me for sure. There are about 6-8 N/SS style cars in the Illinois/Wisconsin area that can run 8.50-8.70. I ran with the Elephant when it only ran 10.50s when Tom Ponder owned it in the 90's. The car itself looks like it hasn't changed much, same body and paint. I would venture to guess it weighs 3300 give or take. I believe Paul's car is a real lightweight owned by Len Grinwald. We've got a 8.50 Tempest out of Detroit that is legal except the carb, under 500" motor. check here.

The Elephant car has changed quite a bit since the former owner had it. Grinwald and myself spoke for about 2 hours on the phone one day exchanging info on lightning tips for that car. That is a super trick combo and I am proud to be the supplier of the super light fiberglass front fenders.
