US Car Tool Mopar K-Frame Stand

US Car Tool Mopar K-Frame Stand
Does anyone have one of these stands? How do you like it?

I do not have this stand . . . but I've bought all the rest of my stuff from US CarTools - Frame connectors, leaf spring relocation kit, front fender stiffening supports . . . and on top of everything being US made ( Chris is a great guy too ) . . . the parts are all top quality and very easy to install . . .

Even though I don't have the stand - my thoughts from US CarTools reputation is that you'll like it and be happy with it . . . Good luck !

Meeps made his own that looks almost exactly like that. My k-frame and new motor/trans are on it right now. It's awesome!

Very easy to roll around and now that I've experienced an engine pull from beneath the car instead of from over the top, I'd never do it any other way.

Do you think he has the dimensions for it. I just might make my own. at $400 +$75 Shipping I think I could make one allot cheaper. Maybe you can post a picture or two of it?

That is a nice bit of kit! I wish I had that 20 years ago, when I was pulling drivetrains left and right.

I designed a nice adjustable low rider a few years back, but in the end I went the ultra cheap route... a Harbor Freight ATV lift and a small piece of plywood. Picked up the lift on one of their never ending sales. It was cheaper than building the adjustable low rider. Not as high tech, but it gets the job done... I'm still using it.

Anyone seen pictures of that thing with just the k member setting on it?

That's an awesome kit. I did what 67 MOPAR did and used my motorcycle lift to let the whole motor and k frame and tranny down while the car was up. Worked great. Didn't have to buy anything...

made mine. (before and after paint) wouldn't do it any other way. scrap steel from the shop at work. just had to buy the casters. If you make one, buy good doughnut shaped poly casters. it makes a world of difference when positioning 850+ lbs of drive line.
