Hey RC here is a pic of the 22in from my RR build. I think it was an 043 rad . car has 4 speed. Different # for auto as you know.
Can't post this pic from this laptop. Will retrieve pic from other source and post

I don't have a picture but the part number could be any of these: 2898043 if manual tran, 2898044 if 2 bbl with Auto, 2898045 auto or 2949053 auto or manual.

Yeah, that number is for an Automatic. Check with Glen Ray Radiators. They didn't do that one for me, but they they did rebuild one for my GTS and one for my Cuda. Not real cheap but Primo work. You can also buy one outright from them if you don't have the correct core.

Actually, I just sent my radiator to Glen Ray last week. They pointed out to me that one that came in my car was apparently for a 66 or 67 with the upper hose being located on the passenger's side. However, they are going to fix me up with the correct upper tank.

Who may I ask did you get your upper hose from?

On the RR , I believe it came from Year One. On the GTs I bought Goodyears from Rock.

Glen Ray comes through again! They swapped the upper tank with a 68 one the had in stock & it looks better than new. As always, they do a fantastic job!
