70' RR quarter panel extension trim clips

Does anyone know where to get the clips/whatever that attach the quarter panel extension moldings? I bought some clips and after 2 hours of filing to make them fit inside the trim, I go to put them on and there is no way to put the nut on without taking off the extension. So this has me scratching my head cause I can't seem to find the attaching hardware.

Dude....I ended up going to Napa Auto parts and finding the closest clip I could to an original. I then had to "modify" them to fit in the trim but it worked. This AFTER I bought what was supposed to be the correct clip from Mr Moparts when I was at Spring Fling. I am talking about the trim on the lower section of the rear valance and the piece on the trunk that lines up with the piece on the extension as well as the piece ON the extension.

I think they use a barrel fitting and then the stud just pushes into it. Still haven't found what is "correct"!
