Welcome And Nice To See Younger Mopar Blood On The Site! I Have Been Driving Since Age 14. First Car I Joy Rided With Was The Old Man's '63 Belvedere Punch Buttons! My Younger Brother And I Used To Drive Around The Neighborhood With It When He Wasn't Home! Started Young With Me. Note: Young Guys, I Would Not Do That Today, The Cops Have No Sense Of Humor Anymore!

This thread made my day.
A few months ago, I offered a 1969 Roadrunner to the 16-year-old son of a good friend of mine, since I have no kids of my own.

He said he wasn't interested.

I couldn't believe it.
I can't even wrap my brain around the idea that a 16-year-old boy would rather have a rice grinder than a 60's muscle car.
And the thought crossed my mind that most kids these days may very well think the same way.

I for one am glad this kid posted today. Makes me feel just a bit better about the world.

im with ya on that one. when i bought my factory FC7 Road Runner...i was as excited as a kid on Christmas....i really had hoped my nephew would have shared my enthusiasm....but he had no interest what-so-ever. burying their noses in cell phones and x-box seems to be more important to them. our cars are DEFINITELY a generation separator!

welcome and stick around kid....youre in the right place. youll learn alot from us clowns.

Yeah welcome aboard. But like was said, we like pictures. You know the sayin....pics or it didn't happen.

Welcome to Fbbo. Glad to see a youngster taking up the hobby. Looks like dad is bringing you up right with a good start. :)

Welcome Kid. I have young boys too and they are big time car kids! Nothing I love more than taking my kids out for a ride.
Your dad must be proud! Soak it up and keep it going!
