This is going to be a really cool car when it is done. I love the work you have done so far. Obviously you have a vision for the car and it is cool to watch that vision happen on this thread. Thanks for sharing the pics!

Picked up a cool sissor lift for the shop and it will work great to put the motor in
Thanks

I have the factory undercoating remove from the back of the car. It is leveled and I added some reinforcements inside the car before I cut the frame for the spring location kit.
Thanks
Pat

I cut the bottom of the US Car Tool spring relocation mountso they are flush with the frame and filled the lower holes. Then cut the rustfree factory frame rails for the spring relocation mounts.
Thanks
Pat

I have the spring relocation mounts installed. The US CarTool spring mount have an alignment flange that bolts to the original forward springperch but I had to cut it off as the Reilly Motorsport Street Lynx centers tothe original frame (36 ¾”)

I used the frame cutouts to make templates to match theshape on the new spring mounts.

With spring mounts tacked welded on I will fit the uppercrossbar before welding in.
Thanks

Pat this is a seriously cool build! I thought the same at first looks like too nice a car to be modifying this heavily but if it's not all original anymore and needs some love anyways then I'm totally with ya on build it how you want it!

I'm definitely tuned in it looks awesome!

Pat,

Couple of questions on the scissors lift.
1) Where did you get it from?
2) Is there any type of mechanical lock on it once in the raised position? I would hate to trust the cylinders/hoses/valving only from suspending the dead load from creep or worse yet catastrophic failure.

Before welding in the new RMS cross member I add a gussetinside the frame to help distribute the load to both side of the frame. I alsohad to make two shims to fill the small gap of the cross member.

I used a spot welded to hold the shim in place.

When it is welded in I will remove the original crossmember.
Thanks
Pat

The Plasma cutter and spot weld cutter make short work ofremoving the right side inter wheel well. It would nice if it goes back in aseasy, wishful thinking!
Thanks

I test fit the 4 link rear today and put the rear wheels onthe car for the 1[SUP]st[/SUP] so I can setup the inter wheel wells. It’s notquit the milestone of a car coming out of the paint booth, but seeing it withthe wheels on and the right stance is a close 2[SUP]nd[/SUP]!
Thanks
Pat

Before the new trunk floor gets installed I moved thewheel well flange in 2 ¼” on each side to keep an original look to the floor.
Thanks
