I have a 1966 plymouth Satellite the car with a power cut off Switch mounted under the car on the right side i was wondering where other have mounted there switch at i want mine to be out of site.. Just to make it clear its the power cut off switch not just a switch to cut power to the Ignition or Dist..

Any pics & or Ideas would be greatly appreciated so i could hide it.. Plus it won't look so ugly hanging down under the car.:headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang::headbang:

64 Sportfury has a sprung license plate mount to access the fuel filler in the rear. I unbolted the license plate mount and drilled through the body and mounted it next to the filler tube. It fits behind the license plate mount nicely. I don't know what the rear license plate mount looks like on your 66 but there may be room do a similar install.

This is what I did, see pics.
Your hood & scoop look like what I got yesterday, glass hood & scoop from AAR.

Mines in the trunk. Fabbed up linkage so only the knob is outside right next to the license plate. Wrong knob on in the pic, now says "Push Off", also the charging bungs stay with the battery charger. It also has a cable attached to go up front. The cable is attached to the "stupid" lever for the times I'm belted in the car and forgot to turn on the power. Nice being able to kill it from inside for emergency's anyway.

x2 on my 65 Coronet.

I have to say i really like yours super clean and nice location thanks so much ...

Not telling.
Next thing you'll want my SS# or the location of my gold.

My battery is in my trunk also so my cutout switch is also in the back. Mine goes through the taillite lens so if I ever wanted to put it back to stock all I would have to do is replace the taillite lens. Ron

Oh and before anyone ask's the reason mine is on the left is my buddy gave me the battery cable and it was just not enough to reach to the right side so I put it on the left side in my street car. Cant say it actually makes any difference at the track which side it's on in my car even if we all know the right side is the best side to put it on. Ron

bad pict but you get the idea. Marine grade shut off...
