Is there a left and right boot lid arm. Just fitted the boot lid and it needs to move sideways. There does not seem to be an adjustment for this and i was wondering if I have the arms on the wrong sides. Only needs to move 5mm or so.
Any thoughts welcomed

Thanks Tony

Have you checked the opening for squareness? Like from the vertical brace to the opposite corner opening on top - side to side. Also are the verticals actually welded in correctly and square/vertical? As far as I can recall the arms are identical, so it could even be spring tension on the rods - location is equal and the clips are home correctly? There are a few things to check up on.

Issue fixed. Turned out that the left lid arm had moved during fitting( I had not put the retainer washes on) and was on the very outside of the rod. Once it knocked it on further the Trunk lid gaps are perfect.
Thanks Kiwigtx

Oh, "boot"! I was thinking at the wrong end of the car. Lol

I was thinking something like a Shaker Hood setup, Air Grabber, rubber seal or something, something...

No problem Mate!

I learned those terms years ago, fooling around with old Volkswagens. You just caught me off guard! Lol
