Bought this car this last weekend. Its a 68 sport satellite . according to the vin its s 383 4spd car. No fender tag and the rear sheetmetal is rough but very fixable. I've owned several a-bodys but this is my first b body. I've wanted one since I was a kid. I can't wait to get started on it! So let me know what you guys think. I know its a little on the hard to find side. It still has the 4spd hump and clutch pedal assembly. I just plan on fixing the rear sheetmetal and get it running and drive it like that for awhile then eventually make it nice. imagejpeg_2_14.jpg

Hi Dustersteve, welcome:wav:

Looks like it's going to be a great project.

Welcome from Minnesota....looks like a great project. Good luck and keep us updated. :headbang:

Thanks! The guy I got it from used the trans for his superbee and was going to scrap the rest. I just happen to drive by and see it and stopped and asked. Got it for scrap price. I'm in the process of. Building a 727 for my 72 duster. I blew the 360 up and noe it has a 440 with fenderwells and 4.11s. After its done (again) I'll start on the satellite.

Glad you saved it from being scrapped! Good luck with it.

imagejpeg_2_18.jpg. As you can see the rear is very rusty, but still there. Only about the last 2ft of framerail are bad. And of course the trunck floor and quarters and the places in between. I've fixed worse. When I worked at Cale kerns speed shop in high school and college we fixed way worse (usually on Chevy's)

Inside that guys 3 car barge is a fully restored 68 bee, a 68 coronet, and 68 mustang coupe. All in near perfect shape.
