Hey guys, My 67 Coronet auto,318 is mostly stock except for a 650cfm Eddy carb, an aluminum Eddy intake, along with a Comp.20-221-3 cam. The current TC is whatever came stock with the car. Since the new cam it is really a dog off the line, much worse than before the new cam. I am not expecting 383 type performance but would like put in a higher stall TC. Problem is I don't know enough about them to make an informed decision. I was thinkin 2800-3000 stall, but some say that's not a good choice. Am lookin for some advise from you guys and girls. Thanks, Dave

Interesting.

That's a much smaller cam than the ones they start recommending a converter for.

Did something else get changed around the same time?

No extra stall needed with that cam. Even more so with 3.23's.
But, since your looking for an edge, a 2000-2200 converter is as far as I would go.
