Im gonna attempt to make my own fuel lines from the carb to the fuel pump and will most likely need to bubble flare the steel tubing so i can slip some rubber tubing over it and dont want the hose to slide off.. Does anyone have any good techniques to make a nice bubble flare. I have a flaring kit. Seen a few videos on youtube but the flares done seem smooth enough. Thanks

I doubt this will help you but eastwood has some good videos but there based on using there flaring tools, I had few tech tips emailed to me from them but that was because I got there flaring tool

How but one like this thats a little more rounded

One key point is to tighten the "hinge" side of the clamp first on tools that have a hinge.

Experiment by leaving a longer section out than shown in first vid.

Also cutting tube with rotary pipe cutter work hardens the metal needing more force to shaped. Hacksaw or cutting wheel leaves metal softer, easier to work with.
