Bought these with the intention of using on my Bee but they will not fit the application without modification. Was told they were Magnum Force part #MFR161022 (62-72 Dodge/ Plymouth B-body & 70-74 E-Body) but the width is out of spec by a 1/2" too wide, hence the price.
The gusset could be cut and re-welded by someone competent and have a cheap set of control arms (they're $300 new).

Open to offers and trades, asking $175.00

Looks like ya got them on the wrong side, try swapping them.

haha, good catch on the pic. Did do so and while they're equal regarding the bushing to bushing distance between the two they're too wide to fit within the space between the shock tower and the control arm bracket.

Just trying to save ya headaches here, but have you contacted Magnum Force? They are good company and might tell ya to send them back and get ya some new ones on the way.

You could as a last resort try to put them in a press and get the arms to come in some, but then might have integrity issues.

Appreciate it!
Did contact them and they were very helpful but in the end couldn't be determined they were there units & even offered a discount for a new set.

Thought about trying that but I wasnt too comfortable trying it and had a set of originals so went with those for the time being.

those are not magnum force or FFI. Those look like G-Max control arms or that defunk company that made the k-members, can't remember their name.

CAP, and QA1 bought them out.

The thing that throws me off is the drilled gussets as none of the manufacturers I ran across did this and it was done prior to them being painted/coated. Unfortunately there's no markings or part numbers stamped into them to help in ID. Contacted the guy that sold them to me and he didn't have any paperwork on them. May be SOL but wanted to put it out there in case someone could do something with them as they seem well made other than the width issue.

Im not sure but these maybe for the 73-74 B-bodies I think they are a little wider. Ran into same issue with a pair I bought and found out they were also a little wide and the part # listed them for 73/74 B-bodies.

Thanks, I'll do a bit more research into it. Guys at Magnum Force didn't mention it being a possibility but I'm not positive they sell them for the later B's anyway.

Thanks Kernel!

Do you happen to have the measurement from each side to the center point of the ball joint?

I can take any measurement you like as I have a pair fom my 74 charger in front of me.

Can you clarify the measurement you need?

Thank you very much! Yes from the outward & inward on the bushing mounts to the center of the ball joint hole. I can sketch up if would make more sense, want to determine if the mounting point to the ball joint distance is correct to re list them if that's the proper application.

Appreciate it,
Cole

ok first, sorry for not getting back when I thought I'd be able to.

Second lol, I think I know where you want the measurement from... I'll post a pic in a sec but I cant get an exact measurement as its assembled but looks to be about 10" from the centre of the ball joint hole to the centre of each of the bushing centres (outside)

sorry the angles not great to see exactly where I'm measuring too, I'd need three hands to do it clearer

Kernel,

Thanks again for helping out, definitely owe you one!
That's exactly what I was looking for so will measure the mystery arms tonight to see if that's what they were designed for.

Really appreciate it,
Cole
