Hey boils and goils, I'm lookin to get a set of Wheel Vintique's Magnum 500s in 15x8, and was wondering about tire sizes.

My question: If you have 15x8 Magnum 500s, would you mind posting pictures of them and then list their sizes? Pics from back, side, front if you have any. Preferably on second gen Chargers but anything helps. Thanks in advange and I'm excited to see your rides! :toothy12::toothy12::toothy12:

I have 245/60R15 all the way around on my 68. Unfortunately I haven't been able to get it out of the garage as I still need to do the brakes/alignment:

I'll see if I can't get some better images this weekend.

Bead width of relaxed non-mounted tire should not exceed rim width and then hope you have a big enough wheel well. I have 275-60-15 on 15x10's on my 68 Charger RT and no clearance problems. Before that had G50's on it.

245 60 x 15's MT tires I wanted all even all around, for now, may go big 275 in rear some day, Drag radials are 275 x 8 rears.

Thank you guys all so much. I have such a tough and expensive choice to make. Does anyone know if the Wheel Vintique wheels from Summit are quality wheels? You can get the 15x8s for around $150 each.

Great photos and help so far guys. Keep the pics flowing! If you have Magnum 500s 15x8 or 15x7 in any combo, post up :D

Also post up your steel wheels with or without dog dish caps. Looking forward to seeing your cars.

Thanks,
-Mike

I just picked up a brand new set of 15X7's that I will be swapping on to my '66 Satellite for a little taller ride height. Currently running 14X7's with the BFG Radial T/A's @ 245 60 14's. Planning on the 245 60 15's myself. Should be OK with the 15X7's should it not?...cr8crshr/Tuck

Not a charger but they are magnums
Fronts are 225/60/15's on 7" rims, backs are 275/60/15's on 8"rims

Hi Mike, If I hadn't gone with the steelies & cop car caps, my choice for wheels was either Magnums or Keystones like Sox & Martin ran on almost all their cars. Whichever you choose, they'll look great on your car. Bob

Nice.....your Plymouth sleeps on the red carpet?

@badmopar67, Perfect. Thats the stance im going for. Car looks AMAZING.

@ilm65 That setup looks great. Car looks immaculate, is that a factory color? I do plan on getting those steelies next. Such a good look!

Thanks again for all your pictures and input :notworthy:

Still would love to see more pictures of everyone's cars out there. Post pictures with wheel and tire sizes. Looking for 2nd gen Chargers and B-bodies with Magnum 500s, but would also like to see other rides with different wheel sizes.

I like these tire/wheel question threads... They always turn into mini car shows..lol

Not Magnum 500's, but here's 15" x 8" rear 275/60/15 with 15" x 7" front with 225/60/15 on my bird.

Thanks for the photo Propwash, looks amazing. I'm definitely going to go with the same sizes on the rear. Will most likely do the same rim size up front, but I was thinking 245s up front.

Propwash, I've seen your name on here a lot. You always share wise words and very helpful advice/opinions. Thanks for the upload! (I'm also hoping for a mini car show haha)

Hey thanks rikubot! I appreciate the kind words sir.

Here's a couple older threads that may help you out on your tire/wheel size choice:
