Counting Cars restores a 70 RR and 70 Coronet on History Channel Feb, 24th.

I like some of the things he does to cars...others, well, not so much. Good show, though.

I had the chance to work on that show when it first started, they were looking for someone with Mopar background. I turned them down thinking that it was going to be another BS drama non reality show. Turns out that I was wrong and it's good. They do fudge some stuff like the people that come to buy the cars or bikes when they are done.Still better than most.

we'll see,
he does do some good stuff, some of his taste isn't mine,
to each their own, it's just entertainment

I like the show,
I think Danny "the Kount" is a true car guy
seems to like Mopars too

we'll see

RoadRunner? ....if it is matte black, 20 in wheels, vette interior , with a FORD TEARDROP FIBERGLASS HOOD SCOOP....well Sonny will fart!

& bee stripes???

:pottytrain2:

Da Count.....yea count your money..

I like the series and last nights show was even better with the Coronet and Road Runner. I would do without the silver flake bee stripe and hood scoop.

I like the series and last nights show was even better with the Coronet and Road Runner. I would do without the silver flake bee stripe and hood scoop.

How about the 69 charger he did for $84ks, he bent that guy over.

It depends. I watched a show and a restoration shop charges $80,000.00 as soon as you walk into the door. I imagine the Count gets paid for the show and losing money on restorations is not a huge concern of his as the producers want the ratings. $50,000.00 to tear a Coronet to bare metal and replacing panels is a steal. The paint job on my R/T was close to $18,000.00 and it was rust free.

This is like the 7th Mopar he's done on the show, lets see even more

Even worse than any small/minor discrepancies
{Bee stripe with a Bat winged RR & a Bat winged Bee airbrushed in it's stripe}
in the 70 Coronet or 70 RR convertibles builds, no harm no foul,
should have put some decent wheels on the RR too, different strokes for different folks...
A little "Kount Kustoms Flavor" as he called it, the owner seems to love it too...

Was a Wrecking yard gets $2,000 for 70 RR Rally gauge cluster,
that needed another $1,000 in a complete restoration & repair...

$120,000 to restore the 2 cars, that's almost GYC's $$$...LOL sorry I couldn't resist

Overall they came out very nice, I'd roll in either one, it's only entertainment...

Yeah 2 grand for that well used rally dash !? Dam I need to sell parts in Vegas !! Lol:icon_scratch:

Someone should repop the Rally gauge cluster's.

The only negative I must comment about: you don't put bumble bee rump stripes on a Plymouth... that looks too bizarre.

Paint looked very nice on the Plymouth!

I liked the fact Danny wanted to help out the old guy with the Vette he bought.
The vette looked like a cluster.

Cars may have turned out all right but how the hell do you lose money when someone gives you`$130 K to do 2 cars!! I'd be wanting a look at the books was it me. theres got to be some fat to be trimmed somewhere.

I also liked the 70 300-hurst and 300-hurst vert clone. They were pretty sweet too.
