I have an original 4:10 Dana 60 for sale. Original b body rear. It has been totally rebuilt with Timken bearings, new clutch pack, and green bearings on the axles. I put several thousand miles on it before it was removed from the car. The car was sent off to the body shop, then sold after it was painted. $1700. Prefer local pickup.

Does anyone know would I need to alter the perches to work on a 72 road runner? I am interested in it... What types of axles does it have?

71 thru 74 b bodies used a 63" wide rear, while the 68 thru 70 were 61 1/8". I'm thinking that is quite a bit to move spring perches if you are going further outboard with them. Then you also will have to contend with wheels needing an inch less backspace.

The axles are the factory units. 30 spline count.

If you are still interested in the option of moving the perches Mikey, I measured the edge of the perch to the edge of the diameter increase of the axle tube, and there is an 1 5/8 " spacing. More then enough to move the perch and have room for the U bolt.

If you ran an 8" rim with a 3 1/2" offset, it would give you a nice looking depth on the face.
