A few pictures of my scoop from AAR.

Fiberglass was nice and fit the contours of the hood well. I could have been pickier about the back passenger side bottom edge but I'm sure only I will see it.

Scoop looks great - I like.

Looks nice. Have a tube support in the center? If not, that will bow at speed.

This gentleman knows what he speaks of. I only forgot to replace the center support once! I always wonder if my eyes grew proportionally with my scoop as it started to get bigger at about speed lol

I didn't put a center support in yet.

It feels really stiff but after my first test drive -need the snow and gravel gone- I may change my mind!

I'd put that support in BEFORE you take that car out at highway speed.

nice very nice thanks for sharing :headbang:

Yes it looks great! Steel hood right? What did you use between the scoop & hood, anything? I have the tall version of scoop & a glass hood that's going to the painter tomorrow. Best quality stuff I've seen lately.

If you don't mind repainting your scoop....don't put the support in.

Looks marvelous. Why don't they come with a support built in if there is an inherent flaw?

i am just about ready to buy the same scoop for my r/t .... How is quality ? Is it stiff or flimsy ? Is there a provision for the front supports to attach ? Is this stock height ?

Sled City Scoops come with a built in center opening stud and we have had absolutely no blow offs or cracking. And we have the no stress mounting system. You can see our scoops on ebay.

It does have an extra wide lip in the center of the opening where one could put a center support in but there is nothing there when you get it.. The scoop feels very rigid and stiff not flimsy at all. My scoop is the stock height but they do sell a taller version of the scoop as well.

For the center support what has everyone used to make it look like a clean install?
