My 68' Charger arrived......

themechannic: Yes I have and yes there is, I owned a 70 RR with a leak in the same spot, on the drivers side pillar area, this one is just not as bad. No others though anywhere.

I am the 3rd owner and it is supposed to have 7,740 original miles on it. I have checked all that I know and it seems there is a good chance it is but not holding my breath. 440HP, auto console, black interior, PS, PB, matching numbers. There was 1 repaint and it appears to me that either the 1st owner changed it or the painter got it wrong but the color is supposed to be racing green metallic. I don't think it is dark enough for that. I am just starting to clean it up but here are a few more pics.

Great looking car you got yourself into.

I wouldn't put a lot of faith in the notion of actual mileage. There are a few things that look suspicious to me with the fact of having a repaint, wrong brake booster, battery turned around and cables been replaced. Orange box added. Beautiful car though and one to be very proud of.

Thanks for letting another green Charger visit your post. Mine is TT1 medium green, and it looks to me like that is the color yours was painted.

Very jealous! My dream car has alway been a 68 or 69 Charger.

I have to say I'm jealous of yours too! Beautiful looking Charger.

I personally liked the color combo but was a little skeptical because I wasn't sure if it would be accepted like a black, silver or red one. They seem to be the more popular colors. I had a 1965 Vette that was Glen Green with a saddle interior, again I loved it had it for 28 years, but it wasn't very popular with others. But it only matters what you like IMO.

My first 68' Charger was dark green, and I have always favored green on a Charger. It is a hit wherever I go, and everyone loves the car, with little preference for a particular color.

First day of Spring? Not likely with 3-5 inches forecast today. As soon as I get better weather I'll take it outside nad get some interior pics and clean engine pics.

I'm curious to see how your Charger would look with a saddle interior.
