Anyone used the spray can cad plate?

I'd love to see examples of the different ones available.

My 73 brake booster is out and nasty looking.

IIRC the 74 was gray. I suppose I could go that way, but if there's a nice simulated "cad in a can" that isn't too expensive...

I've used the Eastwood cadmium paint on a couple of cars and it came out good. they have zinc and other coatings.

That's the one I've used as well.

I saw a youtube where a guy sprayed silver/chrome and gold at the same time and then added red and green sparingly (kind of fogging) while still wet, then back to silver and gold.

Didn't look too bad.

I might try that with some red and green I already have.

What paint to get to be as bright cadium as a new master cylinder cap? The Eastwood I got was pretty much just dull silver.........MO

Looks like 100+ bucks in paint.

I'm trying Krylon "battery protectant" possibly mixed with "chrome" silver.

The battery protectant actually looks like cosmolene.
