Help needed...anyone who has installed the RCD Bilsteins

Have a 70 RR and just want to make sure I did this correct. On the top mount for the front shocks, did you remove the old rubber bushing/mount and replace it with the two rubber pieces included with the shock. The fit is what has me questioning myself. Also, how tight did you crank the nut up top? Thanks!
 
Manual says 25 ft lbs on the upper nut, 50 on the lower nut and bolt. I used the new bushings and they fit perfectly on my '70 GTX
 
Thanks for the reply! I wasn't sure about the bushings since the factory one sat inside the hole and had a metal sleeve to keep the rod centered. The new ones just kind of sat in the hole but I guess if they are cranked down enough they won't move around.
