Looking for a set of 915 heads. Rebuilt or not.
PM if anyone has any...hoping for someone in NJ or NY, but open to others.
Thanks

Would a 1969 Coronet R/T have 915 heads from the factory? I have a set of Indy EZ-1 heads on my 440 now and the factory heads are sitting in my warehouse.

Those would be 906 heads, 915 heads are one year only 67' gtx

I believe they were also on other 1967 440s, no? I have a 1967 440 bone stock from an Imperial and it has 915 heads, albeit not the HP heads with the larger valve(s)

Hey Dude. Check NYC Craigslist. I know there is a really nice guy in Whitestone, Queens, that has a great pair of them, and I also saw on Craigslist a pair somewhere on Long Island listed at an awesome price of about $350. Wish I had seen these ads before I bought my pair!

Viola. Sounds like a smokin' deal http://longisland.craigslist.org/pts/4925570755.html

Again, wish i had bought these instead of the $550 set I ended up dumping another $320 into. Eh, whatever.

Yep your right hp for GTX but still one year only

GTX and Coronet R/T. My '67 Imperial had the 516 castings which I think we're identicle to the 915 non HP castings. I replaced those 516s with a set of 915s that I had the bigger exhaust valves installed. I have a couple of sets of 516 castings available, one set is in bolt on condition.

I took a set off of a Missouri st. patrol car, it was a 67.

516 and 915's are not identical. The chambers are, as well as the small EX valve on non HP 915's, but that's about it. The difference is the intake port floor. The 516's have a flat floor while the 915's have a nice short side radius. 906's share the same port as the 915's but the later 346, 451 heads went back to the flat floor like on the 516's. One can guess emissions reasons but I'd sure like to hear the story from someone who was there.

The 915's are going to cost you some bucks even needing rebuilding but a set of 516's come fairly cheap and even cheaper if they need to be rebuilt. Thing about 516's is that they can perform pretty good when you install the larger exhaust valve, pocket port them (all stock Mopar heads should be at least pocket ported), and do some mild port work if you are planning on building a good running mild engine.

I have a nice set 915's fully rebuilt with larger valves hard seats and ported. I have an add in performance parts with pictures also can send extra pictures to you.
