Hello, I am selling a 1964 Plymouth Savoy 2 door post project. This was purchased years ago from California by the legendary Mopar racer Jim Hale and it has sat in his storage for a LONG time before I got it in a recent parts lot purchase with several other 64 Plymouth project and parts cars. This was the car he was saving to make a Max Wedge or Hemi Super Stock clone out of but he has other race cars and this one just sat untouched inside all these years. This car is in ORIGINAL PAINT and is a SUPER SOLID CAR with perfect firewall, cowling, excellent quarters and inner fenders, great frame rails. The ONLY rust repair needed is a couple of small patches in the floor where some very light rust was cut out years ago. This is a slant 6, automatic car and has the correct VIN as well as the data plate. The doors and fenders are in SUPER NICE CONDITION and have been PROFESSIONALLY ACID DIPPED and are right at the same weight as the aluminum fenders and doors the HEMI cars had. I also have an ORIGINAL Max Wedge/Hemi Aluminum upper grille mount bracket that is included with the package. I also have an ORIGINAL Numbers Correct 1964 426 Max Wedge/426 Hemi Radiator in EXCELLENT CONDITION that is included. I also have the radio delete plate as well as the Super Stock correct heater delete dash plate. All the brightwork, trim, grille, tail lights, and small parts are EXCELLENT as this car has been off the road and stored inside for decades. This is a PERFECT STARTING POINT for a Max Wedge or Hemi Super Stack clone or NHRA Class Racer as it is almost impossible to find a body this straight and solid.
The price for EVERYTHING is 12,500 and there is a CLEAR TITLE
The car is located just outside Ft Smith, Arkansas and I can assist with transport if needed.
I would prefer interested parties PM me for my number as it would be much easier to discuss this over the phone.
Thanks, Steve Schweitzer

If you ever think of selling just the doors, I'd be very interested in taking a closer look at them.

Pardon my ignorance, but; acid dipped with original paint intact? Please tell me more.. Did the factory routinely dip slant six bodies?

I finally got some pictures of the car and looked it over really well. I can tell you this is a very solid california car and the only panel replacement needed is the front floorpan patches. The trunk floor and quarter extensions are nice and solid with only some surface scale. The acid dipped fenders and door are very light and were professionally done. They will need a little work before paint but nothing major. Please PM me for my number and I can discuss this car in depth with you.
Thanks, Steve

a few pictures of the acid dipped fenders and trunk floor. The small patch in the one fender was done before the acid dip so it is the same thickness as the fender and only needs final finish work.
