I’m looking to buy a 68-69 GTX, Road Runner, orCoronet. I’ve been looking at this site,hemmings.com, autotraderclassics.com, classiccars.com, and ebay. Any other good sites for old musclecars? I’ve found a few dealer websitesthat seem to specialize in these cars while looking on these saleswebsites. I seriously doubt I’ll buy acar from eBay because I’ll want to get the car inspected first, and I wouldlike to know the price of the car before spending about $500 on an inspection.

Thanks

Hell...Why not here on FBBO. Even MOPARTS for that matter????:confused::confused:

Too bad I'm just seeing this now. I went to dinner and there sat 69 440 RR. Had all the upgrades from that year. Looked all original so there was some patina on the body but very, very little. Inside looked great - point being it was for sale. Started up and sounded great - stock - no cam outside of stock. I would have taken the number so you could have called him. But I didn't. Would have liked to help you out.

Im going to a car show in Orange, CA tomorrow. He might be there. I'll check things out there for you.

I know how you feel. I've been looking, and saving, for about 2 years now and can't find a reasonable car to buy. The few I have found sell before I can get to them.

Carsonline is how I found mine - HOWEVER, some are real dreamers. Since they dumped $70,000 in a 68 Coronet, They want $70,000 to buy it! Look at the ad number lower left under description. They are up to 78,*** I think. If you see a car with ad numbers from the low 60k range, it has been for sale for years. Probably because they want 3 times what the car is worth.

I've noticed the same cars over and over again on that site.
Thanks for the tip on the ad numbers.

The one thing I don't like about carsonline is that the price isn't listed until you click on the actual link. Since I'm looking for one that is not a work in progress, there's no point in looking at anything under about $18k-$20k. And since i'm not looking for one that is in concours condition, there's no point in looking at anything above about $40k.

But thanks everyone for the suggestions listed thus far.
