I'm listing my 73 duster that needs it's resto finished,I can't finish due to back injury. So I'll start with i have a little over $11000 invested in this car with recipes to show. I know the car doesn't look like an 11k car I'm a mechanic not a painter so I dios what I knew first. So that being said I'll give a short list of what the car is and has .
The car was a slant six survivor car with no power anything and drum brakes,*
I made the car safe and fun with ; new rebuilt 318 eng all bolt ons are also new starter,alt,water pump,ect. (carb just rebuilt),904 tourqeflight trans (automatic) it has a Hurst pro matic 2 in it and a custom kick down linkage was ordered , the correct drive shaft was found and new u joints installed. When the v8 conversion was done a different k frame was switched in to the car giveing the car front disc brakes ,all brakes were replaced with new parts (rotors,drums,pads,shoes,springs,wheel cly,ect.),also at that time I converted the manual steering system to power steering(new gear box new pump, found correct brackets,New ball joints,control arms,tie rods,Pittman arm ideler arm,and a new rebuilt steering column,ect.)all 4 shocks were replaced the rears being air shocks ,the radiator was replaced with a larger one with all new hoses.the car also has a newer set of American raceing wheels and good tread left on tires.also the car has very hard to find exhaust manifolds on it and custom duel exhaust (welded).
This car runs and drives great you can drive it home no over heating like most v8 conversions,and it sounds great . This is a fun little a body mopar. Now here's what's left to do. The car is very solid but it does have some rust starting bottom of both 1/4's(very common) and about 4-5 other small spots the rust has been sprayed with rust inhibitor but needs to be repaired correctly(as you drive it you could finish it) the interior is all there and could use another dying ,it was dyed black along time ago it has bucket seats in it ,I also have a new carpet in the box that will go with the car,I also have spare side glass (door Windows and 1/4 glass with frames) there's a few problems with the interior lights in the dash they went out I think it's the switch but not shure (this may be fixed before car is sold),so I'm shure I'm forgetting stuff ,if your interested please email the c.l. link above,please put duster in the subject line and please if your not serious don't bother ,no joy rides ,this is a great starter car or father son/daughter project,or a gift for a car fan very easy project all the expensive stuff is done and I'm takeing a huge loss on this because I can't finish it and rather it go to a good home then sit and go to crap ,I'm asking $5000.00 obo ,I may trade for another car plus cash from you I will not add cash ,May swap for a car even if it's nice no projects I can't work on them,No motorcycles,dirt bikes,atv, or jet skis. I can't ride them due to back injury. I will consider fire arms as partial payment.
