He's a handsome fella alright. Labs have LOTS of ENERGY and need LOTS of exercise. We puppysit our friends 2 year old yellow lab occasionally, and after a day with her I need a couple of days off.

Last night I was giving our three month old Newfoundland a bath. He liked it. I started to dry him off when he was done and he climbed back in the tub. I'm sure Labs are the same.

Almost all my labs loved baths & even showers,
Lord Budnicks {RIP Buddy} my last lab would push the shower door open & lay in the shower,
when ever I was in there, he would jump in the tubs with my girls too, they hated it probably,
he loved the toweling/drying off too, it was like play time, made him really happy,
anytime you pick up a towel, he wanted to be dried off...

Man he loved my pool, no mater the weather {all my dogs loved it, even non-labs}
maybe because my whole family other than my ol'Pops, are part fish I think...

Labs are such great dogs, loyal protective, when need be, smart "mans best friends",
mine would lay down in puddles if he could, most all water dogs/retrievers are like that
sounds like Newfy's are great water loving dogs too...

You're right about Labs and water. Here's mine in the first kiddie pool we bought her.

Dam he is really cute, he looks like a chocolate in some of the pics. My first was a black lab and he was super intellengent, the next was a yellow and he is ok, I still have the yellow and now got him a chocolate to play with. God I love him but he has some serious issues, has super bad gas all the time and I am not even going ontellyou the other things he does. People tell me the black labs are the smartest and the chocolates are the worst. Good luck yours looks like a keeper.

Our Yellow Lab was a great dog but man was she a chow hound. Here is our current resident. She is our youngest daughters rescue Chihuahua. What a weird dog.

What a loveable guy ! While we've always had German Shepherds, I still miss my sister's Lab, Snoopy, he was the perfect description of "fun" !
