lol no ****, right

Don't sweat it Mar that's how we learn, I'm sure most have done stuff like that at one point, except me of course........ Ok that last part was a lie, I'm sure I've done worse.

btw this is where a shop manual would have come in handy.

Thanks, +6. Funny thing is, I looked in my shop manual and didnt find it!! I must have been seeing double lol! IIRC, it was section 5 page 2.

edit: just looked at the FSM again and it was on page section 5, page 10. dumb ***...

Thanks Mario, the "Funny Forum" was getting a little slow!

But on a serious note, heating and pulling on the drum might have warped the center. It doesn't take much. Check it to make sure it runs true! Ask me how I know...

lol amen to that Khan! im just glad I didnt do any damage to the hub!

I wont tell you what I did to the left side wheel before I realized the studes were reverse threads. LOL

The rear drums come off much easier. Just remove the wheel, then the drum retaining clips, and the drum will come right off (maybe, after you back off on the adjuster and a few whacks with the dead blow).

Well not always! I had to take my rear drums off to replace the wheel studs with 3" studs for the track. Loosened the adjusters all the way, bang on the drum from behind with an aluminum drift & 3# hammer. No go. Heated up drums with the oxy/accet for quite awhile & beat with 3#er before coming loose. Turns out the studs that previous owner used with the Moser axles were press fit on stud holes in the drum. Made sure to "hone" the stud holes for the new 3" studs!

Quit using a deadbolt hammer and use a use 3lb mini sledge! The dead blow is like Hitting it with a powderpuff
