Mufflers of choice for a high horsepower car?

Had a high 9 second car with Borlas on it but they were still pretty loud. I would imagine that a full exhaust system would have made it more quiet.

I'm kinda weird I guess lol 2" TTI's to 3" pipes to 3" flowbastard super 44's to 3" Jones glass packs at the rear for resonators. Had some real bad drone with the flow's so decided to try a simple trick from the Hemi cars play book - add resonators to the rear for sound deadening. It worked drone is not way aft and sounds pretty kick *** as well. Lots of people using the Dynomax Muffs.

I have the Dynomax Ultra Flows on both my cars.

I've used Flowmasters for decades now,
I currently have Delta Flow 50's & a mandrel bent FM system on my 68 RR 479ci/6bbl,
with full 3" exhaust out the back, I like the sound & performance aspects...

don't go to big of a pie for your "actual" needs,
also use a H-pipe or X-pipe, located where the pipes start to cool,
you won't get a bad a drone/resonances...

Different strokes for different folks !!

100% Made in the USA

I found something that "actually" works very well & doesn't rob HP &
actually has a scavenger effect, has great sound, they were the 1st real race mufflers &
were orig. produced in Santa Rosa Ca., by a local racer...
I stick with what I know works...

Far from OE look, they are a performance muffler/system

Dyno-Max Ultra-Flows for me as I run the full exh system with an X-pipe and I race through the full exh as I have never uncapped it. Ron

Jones Max Flows/ AP Exhaust Xlerators. Sounds great, out flows Magnaflow and better quality than any $40 muffler you will find.
