Thinking about getting a set of Magnum 500 wheels for the Road Runner. Is Wheel Vintiques the only company making these?

there is a company in pa cjppautomotive that sells magnum 500 same size as mopar wheels even though they sell a lot of mustang stuff.

I'd check with wheelsforless too, they're one of the biggest online distributors in the world and can usually beat others prices. Father and son buisness out of Texas and great to deal with.

So am I correct that the Magnums were really not correct for a 69 model car? It should be a road wheel that had the extra trim ring?

I bought mine from Summit Racing. Pair of 15 X 7 and a pair of 15 X 8 with the Mopar caps. $577.88 and free shipping. I think they are made by Wheel Vintiques though so I don't know if they are the only player.

Is that what you are putting on the Charger? Did you get rid of all your parts at Farmington?

I got mine at summit as well, they are not the correct road wheels with the ring but I don't care these all chrome wheels look great on any B Body IMHO.

Those are 4 wheels with caps are now 781.76 from Summit, unless I am not looking at something correctly .

Yep, That is what is going on the Charger. I bought 225/70's for the front and 275/60's for the back. (Coopers) They were quite a bit cheaper than the T/A's and they seem to be more available than the T/A's. The correct ones were road wheels with brushed trim rings but they were 14" on all but the Hemi cars as far as I remember. When I bought my 68 R/T Charger new, it had the 14" Road wheels with F70 red lines. When the car was 2 weeks old, it had 1100 miles on it and the cords were showing on both back tires.
I sold a lot of stuff at Farmington but I am not cut out to be a swapper so I closed down at 1pm Saturday. Got rid of a lot of E body stuff and some truck stuff. I am keeping most of the B body parts I have for the Charger. I tried to peddle the 14" Road wheels from the Charger but there don't seem to be a lot of interest in them. Probably because of the reason I just mentioned. It seems like most people want the 15" Magnums or the Rallye wheels.
I guess I didn't get the center caps from Summit. Just the wheels for $577.88 I got the center caps from Vans for $115.00

Those are the exact rims and tire sizes I have on my GTX. I think they're the perfect size for a street b-body with stock wheelwells. Fills them out really well and gives a nice natural rake to it, too.

The ability to get custom backspacing from the MoparDude for rear wheels is a big plus in my book. I bought four of the Wheel Vintiques 15" magnum wheels and have been really disappointed with the quality. They are US made, but the chrome plating is pretty poor and I describe them as rust looking for a place to happen. I will probably be buying the MoparDude wheels with show quality chrome to replace my Wheel Vintiques I got from Summit. My Wheel Vintiques wheels are just over two years old and they have deteriorated badly. The car has been indoors in a body shop for the past two years, and out of the weather, and I have cleaned the wheels with chrome cleaner and chrome protectant at least four times during this time period. I can't imagine how these wheels would look after two years on a daily driver exposed to the elements. I sent one of the wheels back when they first arrived to Summit due to a plating flaw and the replacement was not much better. I should have sent all four back. Cheaper was definitely not the way to go in my case. I won't buy anything from them again.

There is another thread on this a while back.
