Just had to share my most recent find..
I am a member on a volunteer fire dept. and we went on a call on Thursday for a wild land fire that started behind some grain elevators, less then an 1/8 of a mile from my house.. thank god the wind was blowing the right direction and it took the fire away from the small town...
Anyways, we got the fire contained, and we were putting water on some hot spots etc.. and we were low on water so we went back to town to the water tenders to re-fill and as we were leaving, I happened to look over and right on top dead center of the heap of used junk tire pile.. was this!
so I had to run back after we were done and get it.. I never would of saw it had I not been on top of the fire truck manning a hose.... has been right next to my house for who knows how long and i have walked/drove past it for awhile..
When the weather cools off I will go back and dig and look for more, but I am not a fan of snakes and I am sure there are some in or around there..
