Need help finding replacement input gear

Took my transmission to get rebuilt and heard back that the previous owner cut an inch off the input gear to run on crankshaft not drilled for 4 speed. I'm in search of a 21 tooth, 18 spline input gear *'65-75 race*. Needs to match up to 2892320. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Or you could install the pilot that uses the torque converter register fit instead.....I think one similar to these....

You don't need to worry about it if the shaft is good otherwise (engagement teeth, etc..). I ran a cut off input for years and can say for certainty that the pilot bushing will run right at the very tip of the input shaft. Or do as Cranky said (better).

69bee, that's the bearing I was thinking of. If the shaft hasn't been cut off too short, it'll work just fine.....
