I would like to hear opinions from you guys, on what would be a fair price to ask ?
I am old... it is part of my retirement money, so maybe time to sell.
I might use Ebay.... just not sure yet.... or what to ask ?

Please keep in mind here...
This is an UN-restored Charger... One "exterior only" repaint done back in 1984, the paint seen here.
All original Sheet metal, laser Straight, never rusted or hit, yes... even the trunk floor is original and in good condition.
It can't be called a "Survivor" because of the exterior repaint... but it is as close I think ? as you will ever find these days ?

1969 Dodge Charger R/T SE
Small Town B.C. Interior it's whole life.
Real XS29L9BXXXXXX Car.
133,000 miles now, was 124,000 back in '84 when repainted, so only 9,000 in 30 years.
Black(X9) with Black Vinyl Roof(V1X)
Bench/Buddy Seat Combo in Tan(CRT)
Tinted Glass all around
Stripe Delete
SE Option Pkg.
PS
PB
440 Magnum 375 H.P., original as in "never been out of the Car" or rebuilt, still runs excellent & burns no oil, excellent power and drives even better, yes.... even with the original single point ignition.
H.D. 727 Auto
3.23 Sure Grip
Still has the original Exhaust System on it front to back(new Mufflers only), I have new Exhaust Tips coming.
Fender tag
Broadcast Sheet still under Rear Seat in PRISTINE Condition
Obviously, ALL Numbers Matching... Engine Block Serial # matches the Trans, matches the Rad Support, matches the Fender tag, matches the Broadcast Sheet, matches the Dashboard VIN.

It runs and drives beautifully, excellent power, very tight & quiet, everything works as it should and it needs nothing. It could be driven cross country tomorrow without hesitation. charger 006.jpg
Very simply.... just a family owned, always garaged, very well maintained and cared for 1969 Charger R/T SE

What should a guy ask for it ?
Is the "original" un-restored status a premium a guy could ask for ?

wow thats my dream car afraid to ask what your asking

If it original black on black car its worth $45k easily maybe more.

Very nice! I'm also going with that 45k or more estimate too! Good luck!

Easy $45K, rare color combo with no A/C and no front disc's. Does it have 11" drums all around?

Nada says "RETAIL VALUE"

69 Charger R/T 440ci/375hp auto {no A/C}

Here's my loose interpretation of the NADA "RETAIL" values

$17,617 low "REATAIL" basically 50 footer basically needs full restoration,
has a clear title

$42,255 average "RETAIL" basically like a 20 footer that's clean paint,
nice clean interior, good glass, maybe minor flaws, little to no rust & a good running driver
{fender tag & build sheet, clear title with matching #'s & fender-tag}

$75,330 high "RETAIL" basically a near perfect car,
near perfect survivor {maybe} fresh restoration,
all documented, fender-tag, build/broadcast sheet, #'s matching & clear title of course etc.
{none Hemi, none Six Pack or non 4 speed car}

good luck looks like a great car,
I'd say ball park $45k-$50k {USD} in todays market to the right person with money to spend
no A/C might hurt the resale some

OP is a year old is the car still available?

Been painted. Not original. It's a very cool car, though.

Yep, still toying with the idea of selling.

It's a great running car and needs nothing. I would not hesitate to take it across country tomorrow if the need arose, but alas, we just don't seem to use it much ?.... so it just sits in the garage.

the high forties sounds fair to me. Unless I buy it then $25,000 sounds much better. Wink! wink!

Well, I had contact with a fellow through this forum regarding selling him the Charger.
I most certainly can't blame anyone for their opinion, but I guess his feelings are that if I were to sell, $35-$40K Tops should be a fair price..... in his estimation ?
Which,
has been exactly my problem in trying to assess fair value to ask for it in a "private" sale, without having to do the Ebag thing ?

So, I guess when the time comes.... Ebay will be the only way to go, let the prevailing "market" decide, which IMO for the UN-restored examples in good shape still left.....
means they are usually headed for export to Europe.

Holy cow, first time I've seen this!
*passes out*

I had a lot of hassle selling with Ebay until I got my account set up right. If you do put it on it be great if you posted the link so we can follow it.
