So how did it go at the drags?

That looks great ! You did a great job putting the eng in it. You know you may go faster then you think. I have run 10.70's and your build is stronger then mine and I run a full exh system on the car when I race and I only have 10.6 comp. So if its a race only car you will run open headers and you do have 12.1 comp also. You could be pushing the bottom half of the 10's if all goes well. I cant wait to hear how she runs for you. I wish you "Good Luck" on its first outing as we all know the little quirks that like to pop up on us. Ron

Can't make the race this weekend. I had rebuilt the entire front end, new ball joints, new A-Arms, etc, etc, and took it to the Alignment shop today and they couldn't fit their Alignment Equipment on the front wheels because my Moroso DS-2 Front Tires were too "fat" / "buldge" and their equipment didnt have long enuf arms to attach to the lips of the wheels.
What a bummer...
I sold my old much smaller tires that they equipment would work on but I dont have them anymore. My son-in-law is getting me a pair of tires to "borrow" and to mount up on my wheels to the alignment but all this just happened this afternoon and not enuf time to get it all done today and leave for the drags this evening..

That's too bad I was kind of jonesing/anticipating to hear & see what she ran too

there's always the next race or next day

good luck either way

Looks great a nice clean installation.
One thing I noticed is the fuel regulator on the firewall?
That needs to be mounted at least 6 inches forward of the firewall/bellhousing area as per the NHRA rulebook.

Thanks for the info....before I run my next NHRA race event I will relocate it.
