Cop Magnet, that is going to be an amazing charger. I know there are a couple other viper powered build going on here. Also one that I can't find right now is taking the modern independent rear end and sub structure and adapting it to the car. Look forward to seeing the progress on it.

Here is my 68 a Roadrunner I have had for just over a year now.

I don't have any specs on the motor other than it is a rebuilt 440 two owners ago with not alot of miles on it. Stage IV heads, Edelbrock AVS 800 com carb, Edelbrock Performer manifold, 727 Torqueflite automatic, Hurst floor shifter, 742 rear and 3.91 Sure-grip. 1-7/8" Long tube headers, full length 2" dual exhaust with crossover pipe. Mallory/ MSD 6A, Mallory electric fuel pump, fiberglass 6 pack lift of hood. Trunk mounted battery and shut off switch. Driveshaft loop.

275/60/15 rear tires on 15x8 polished aluminum American racing wheels, 235/60/15 fronts on 15x7 polished aluminum American racing wheels covered with Reproduction aluminum wheel discs and Roadrunner vinyl decals (From SNAKEATER98 on FBBO)

Interior is basically stock with the exception of a pair of 69' bucket seats, Stewart Warner gauge cluster, mini tachometer and new window tint all around.

Paint is pretty old and was not a high dollar job when sprayed, but shines up nice and looks fine at 20'.

Plans for the summer include finding a set of used 8.0 or 9.0 inch slicks and hit the local 1/8 strip to see what it will run. Might even go with new black steelies in the rear with 295/60/15 drag radials if the budget allows.

Just rebuilt the front suspension, new front tires, shocks all the way around and a front end alignment. Probably looking at replacing the 47 year old rear leaf springs to the stance a little more attitude.

Longer term plans and wants would include, port and polished aluminum heads, a Gear vendors overdrive and some newer race style bucket seats and harnesses. And maybe down the line a real paint job.

Having a lot of fun with it this year, plan on cruising the coast more this summer and hitting a few local car shows.

Yes, I noticed the name. Thanks! Nice ride, BTW! Very unique color.

I appreciate all the positive comments from everyone. I can post a new thread here, but honestly I'll just cut and paste it :D Too much work, LOL.

Glad to see there is a restomod section here now. This is the place for our cars, no question, I am just so far away from "stock" that selling parts is all I've done.

Hey Cop Magnet, can't wait to see what you're building! LOOKS amazing so far!

Didn't realize I hadn't posted any pics of my Late Road Runner that I personally restored. Sold it to Fund restoration of a 68 Dart GTS H code and 70 Cuda 383 4spd.

Got your exhaust installed yet?

Not yet. I am trying to get my Power Wagon sold so I can get back onto the car. I need power steering, rocker arms, and push rods. Once I have those the rest are little parts I can buy paycheck to paycheck. I haven't worked on the car in months except tinkering.
