Got another question about my rr.It has a small tranny leak coming from the front of the bellhousing. What do u guys think its is and how much do u think it would cost to fix it?thanks

Probobly front seal. Seal is cheap, but transmission has to be removed to change.

how much do u think a shop would charge to replace?

i was just looking at the 71 plymouth service manual.it shows a drain plug on the converter.Could this be leaking?

If you have the service manual it show how to test for a front seal leak. It could also be a front pump vent leak.

Soo I took off dust shield off tranny and I didnt see any wetness in there the checked the torque on the drain plug on the converter so I was happy to see that.I then took off all the bolts of the pan one at a time and I put some rtv on them at torqued them back down and put rtv on the front side of the pan by the bellhousing.I then drove it around and now it looks dry.I hope this fixed the leak. on
