Hello mopar guys & girls just wondering what you all use in your parts cleaner bin since the parts cleaner itself is costly and ideas from you all.

You're crazy.

Diesel works well without the low flash point.

We used it a lot out in the field. 5 gallon bucket and throw parts in with an inch of nasty, half crusty high temp grease. 30 minutes later part would look brand new.

That is what i was using Diesel but i want to see what other where using.... i figured maybe someone had a better idea its just that the parts cleaner is so costly it crazy..

If it ain't broke - don't fix it. :hello2:

mineral spirits, I never seen one with anything else in it, gasoline is INSANE, mine has a light bulb and electric pump, plus I weld over there sometimes...

DO NOT PUT GASOLINE in a parts washer, lol...

Sonny is not trying to be an a$$ ....I use it....(mineral spirits)
but, However, mineral spirits are not always a very pleasant substance to use. It's volatile and can be highly flammable
:eusa_think:

Kerosene or diesel but seeing how diesel is allot less diesel.

Kerosene and no1 diesel are essentially the same thing, but 'around here' obtaining no1 is pretty difficult,at least in summer, AND in small amounts, such as "at the pump"

I'm also guilty of using gas, but I don't smoke, and I'm damn careful.

i use my wife's chile.. it cleans out my pipes as well..
if that doesn't work i go with gasoline..

Mineral Spirits has Benzine in it! Hope you're using Nitrile gloves! Bad **** too! If you can pick-up some "PT Cleaner" in 5-Gallon cans, it's a safety cleaner that smells like oranges. I learned alot
about what not to use at my job. Don't want to spend my last days on O2!

I cleaned out my solvent tank and refilled with solvent sold at the fuel dist warehouse (Duggan Petroleum), and it was expensive, I think around $9/gallon (x10 gallons.)
