I've been looking for a Mopar Performance electronic distributor conversion kit....have the been discontinued?

See a lot of Proforma (?) kits with the orange boxes, wires etc.. I know the question has been asked before are they worth the purchase price?

Going into a stock 361 ...just a regular engine. Just want to replace the breaker point distributor and old fashioned regulator.

Thanks

I'd install a Pertronix Ignitor ( http://www.pertronix.com/ ) module in your distributor. Much less work for electronic ignition and you don't have to hack up your original wiring harness. You can get 1/4" spade terminal three way adapter ( http://terminalscheap.com/product_i...p-586?osCsid=a4bb7587e9667cb2f8607998c415656a ) that will allow you to power the module from the 12V feed at the ballast resistor which is usually a dark wire that goes to the bulkhead connector.

I'd stay far away from and Proform stuff unless you plan on walking home.
