Anyone see the news Ford is offering the Ford Mustang Super Snake with free upgrades to owners of Hellcat Vouchers ?

But if you did that, you'd have to own a mustang.....I wouldn't want to settle for that.

Pretty much a free leather seat upgrade. For $90,000 it should come with it anyways.

Its 850 hp; you have to buy a GT and then the dealer converts it to a super snake. Interesting ,

They can take that Ford Mustang Super Snake with free upgrades and shove it up their ***!

- Ooops! Did I just say that?

Yes I did.

Not exactly sure what "Hellcat voucher" means? A 2015 Hellcat ordered and scheduled to be built?

Well, they're aiming at customers who can't wait to get their Hellcat and try to lure them into the mustang world... I wouldn't trade it if I had the money for either. Mopar or no car.

The people whose orders were cancelled get a voucher for a 2016 model at the 2015 price. Given the demand for these cars, I suspect that we will see a significant price increase for the 2016 models. :censored:

I would love to know I if any of these hellcat potential owners are really true Mopar intusiests.or are they just rich guys mesmerized by Big Hp figures. their should be a pre purchase exam, and reviewed and graded by the Mopar Gods .part 1, in one hundred words describe why you love Mopars and the reason why you should be allowed to own one of these creations from the depths of hell. With Greatness comes Great responsibility. dodge-challenger-hellcat-wreck-e1419190981702.jpg

My brother wants one and he owns a Vette now. So I would say not all are true mopar fanatics. He's not. He's just looking at the raw power compared to that dog he owns now......

Most of these "kids" are used to stomping on the gas and going. However, the car has no real torque. if they were to stomp the gas on the old school muscle cars they would probably hit a telephone pole. Kids today have no idea of the raw power of a true muscle car. I am not impressed with the new so called muscle car. Just don't have the scare factor.

I missed my share of telephone poles in my 68 RR back in the late 70's. That being said my Coyote Mustang would leave it in the dust. Smooth quiet car, but spinning them through 1st, 2nd and 3rd as you are getting sideways at 60+ qualifies as scary. Have to disagree with you.

I have a 67 GTX and a 2015 Hellcat. The GTX was good for a quarter mile in the high 14's at about 98 MPH in its prime. The Hellcat does about 11.5 at 125 in stock form. There is really no comparison. 3+ seconds at the end of a quarter mile is forever. The GTX has a cool factor all it's own, but the lack of a scare factor with much better performance of the new muscle is amazing. At 4,400 pounds for the Hellcat, the GTX seems like a lightweight, and the Hellcat is only about 5 inches shorter than the GTX.

I am still impressed by some of the early Mopar engineering - the three speed torqueflights when the Chevys and Fords were still sticking with two, the pinion snubbers, the staggered leaf springs, and even the reverse thread lugs on the driver side.

My GTX is a 520 stroker, 4 speed , 4:10 rear end. Pushing over 700 horses. The adrenaline factor is much greater in this car than any modern day muscle car I have driven so far. My experience only.
