I love the AR TTs. I think I know which way Im going but want to know which you like, top or bottom.
Going to go 17 front 18 rear, with 245-45 and 275-40 rubber. Almost the same setup I had with a 71 cuda, and I liked it a lot.
Thanks.
I think the TT's in the top picture will look good.
I went with those on my current car. I didn't go 18 in the back, just 17's all around. 7's in front and 8's in back. But I think the 17 & 18 combo will look really good. Here's mine.
I like your car by the way. Black looks great on these. Here's my black one I sold a while back.
The black with black wheels looked cool. I thought it had a NASCAR look to it, but I'll always remember one guy saying "it looks like a Mennonite's car" - LOL - Maybe there is such a thing as TOO much black in my case.
I think your car is going to look awesome. Hell, it already does. Good luck with it!
Usually my vote would be for the Chromed piezes ALWAYS... but your car got black bumpers and all chrome deleted so, would accept any rim easier. I'm not a Fan of the regular Thorq trust rims... so I would add another option already mentioned... blacked out NASCAR rims... and maybe even yellow letters ;) ( if they exist on those tire sizes )
If not the top one which is to me the winner, Maybe any other kind of rims on black finish ?
Wow, I cant believe practically unanimous. I agree that black and chrome go together so well. The car has so much black, it needs some chrome to break it up.
This picture, the top is how it looks now. The "Nascar" look I guess? Theyre Cragar soft 8s. Steel rims that are cheap, in 17x8 and 17x9, but I want less backspace to push the wheels out a little, with a slightly staggered deeper dish out back. Probably going 17x8 with at most a 4"bs up front, and 18x10 rear with 4"bs. It will be tight, but Ill roll the lips a little if I have too.
Middle picture is the way I will go, but I also added a chrome/black rim too just to see what it looks like. ehhh
I prefer all chrome.
Now that you added these newer pictures, I have to say, I think the bottom one adds the best balance of all the choices. If you look at your car, its black with hints of chrome here and there, the mirrors, the belt and drip edge moldings, door handles. Therefore a complimentary wheel I think is best that does the same. All black wheels detract from the look of the car, all chrome wheels overtake the look of the car, the bottom ones really follow the overall look of the car with mostly black, but nice accents of chrome.
