Thought I would share my experience with buying a new set of wheels and tires if anybody else is interested. Decided I wanted to change the look of my RR a bit, and wanted to try some Magnum 500's and BFG's. I quickly found out that there are only 2 companies making these wheels. Wheel Vintiques and Specialty Wheel. I did a lot of research on the web between the 2 and overwhelmingly read a bunch of complaints/negative reviews about the poor quality and service from Wheel Vintiques. The WV's are sold at Summit and Jegs. The Specialty Wheels are sold directly from SW, which was recently bought out by Coker Tire. After pricing out 4 wheels, 4 tires, 4 center caps, and 20 lug nuts, and shipping - Summit was the cheapest. I was seriously thinking about going that route even though the WV have so many bad reviews. Then I happened upon a thread over on Dodgecharger.com where a guy said Coker/Specialty gives a discount to members of that site on tire/wheel combos. I contacted them for a quote and was pleasantly surprised with the pricing. Got the Specialty's for about $15. more than Summit wanted for the Wheel Vintiques. But in addition to that, they also mounted, balanced(with a lug adapter instead of a center cone), and filled with nitrogen. So after all that, it turned out to be quite a bit cheaper for the better wheels. Another surprise was that the new shoes were at my door 3 days after I ordered, TN to WI. So if anyone is looking for a set of tires & wheels, it sure wouldn't hurt to give Eric @ Coker a call for pricing 800-251-6336 ext. 251. I did notice that 'Dodge Charger Forum' is in the PO box on the invoice, so be sure to mention that.

the old ones for sale?

$1515. 2-15x8 with 275/60/15, 2-15x7 with 225/70/15, 4 center caps, 20 lugnuts, mounted, balanced, delivered.
Exact same everything I have on mine. Fits the wheelwells perfectly in rear and gives the car a great stance without resorting to air shocks or some such.
Congrats!10418520_1000624869950401_3698847895015384709_n.jpg

That's what I would have liked to do also on the rear, but I threw my 10's from my Charger on the RR and it was way to close for comfort for me. Did you use 5" backspace?

Yes hunt 5' back space.IMG_20141215_172759.jpg

I am using a 65 B body dana which I think is 1.5" narrow compared to the 69

5.5 would be better on stock axle.

Get that car out in the sun and take some pic's, the car and us deserve it.....

Man those are beautiful wheels. Some day I'll find a set of chrome magnum 500's for my '66 Coronet. The later style road wheels with brushed trim rings just don't look right.

Hunt2....I'm taggin along to prevent another thread...

Just ordered a set of these puppys along with my 275/60's rear and 245's (they claimed this is an ODD tire size) for the front. 15's of course. Funny they were suppose to be ordered 2 weeks ago then again on the 3rd and nobody knew they were not.... got me another 100 off!!! :hello2:

I looked and looked and looked again.....I just think the Gold paint needs more SPARK to compliment it. I love the Magnums but it seemed mundane against the gold. This is a good thread to help with that. I'm hoping my decision was the right one.

Dallas?..... he just stood there and looked at me with a dumb look. I was too tired to get mad. Summit can send them in 3 days!!!
