It all started with my wife and I going to a benefit car show. It lit a fire. I decided to sell my CJ5 and get a muscle car. The more common cars don't really interest me, I want something different. There were a lot of Chevelles, Mustangs and Camaros, I want something different. I first found the site forabodiesonly and was looking through there when I noticed a link forbbodiesonly. Then my desire increased. These bigger bodied cars with the 440's are beautiful. I believe I have determined that I would like to get a 1967 Coronet R/T. The problem is that I haven't been able to find anything around home (Louisiana). The classified section is a great tool and I have been checking everyday. Anyway thanks for the site and all the people who make it great.

Welcome aboard - we're all partial to the B-bodies as well, that's the reason that we're all here !

Keep looking - something is bound to show up - and then the FUN begins ! ! ! !

Welcome to FBBO. Don't be discouraged. Like Seventy says it would be prudent to cast a wider net. There are cars out there, you just may have to travel a ways to get one. Keep looking and keep us posted.

Fine choice

That is a SUPER fine choice of cars. I also love the "B" body MOPARS. I would love to own a Super Bee or a Road Runner. Keep looking, there's one out there that will be yours one day. Don't let distance stop you. I have driven thousands of miles to buy the right car. Good luck and happy MOPAR..ing.:hello2:

Seventy, I have been following that auction on EBay. It is a beautiful car. Pretty sure that will go for more than I could afford. We will know tomorrow. I did see a 67 R/T up your way, I've asked the owner to send more pictures. I'm not afraid to drive or have shipped, I just wouldn't want a nasty surprise. Cruising the coast isn't too far away, maybe I can find something there.

Welcome! I bought a 67' R/T out of Louisiana last year. They're out there you just gotta be patient!

Good car choice! Make sure you wait for a good one. There are lots of rust buckets for sale and restoration can be expensive!

Welcome aboard! Good luck with the search! You'll find one! Just don't jump at the first you find. Check closely. Get inspected before you buy if you can. Good sellers will not have an issue with this. I'm sure anyone around here would go look for you if in their area!

Welcome to FBBO. Have fun with your search. Don't worry about where it is, I just rode along with a buddy of mine to look at a car. It was 5 hours each way and he is having it shipped back. Good luck.

Wecome to Mopar U! Great choice and like the rest are saying ,...TAKE YOUR TIME! What you save in being picky and not buying a rust bucket will pay off big when it comes time for the rebuild. You can pay up to a $1000 per quarter panel for the replacement and getting it cut out and reinstalled. Time spent well to get one in good shape. Enjoy the search USbuilt and send pictures every chance you get.

Welcome to FBBO

good luck on your B-Body quest

Good luck on your search. It's hard to find the '67 R/Ts. That is what I was originally looking for when I got my '69 R/T.
My first car was a '67 Coronet 440 model 4-door with a 318, but I was 14 and paid $175 for it, back in the late 1970's.
